South Florida is a culturally rich and diverse region of our country and it is my hope to build a chapter representative of the area with a broad range of expertise and distinct set of perspectives. With a dedicated board of directors, the chapter leadership is committed to adding value to the local accounting community through events ranging from social gatherings, to professional development, to a blend of both. We are also aiming to build a network of authoritative resources and a framework for meaningful discussion of developing and established accounting practices, regulations, and guidance that effect each of us in our day-to-day activities as trusted accounting professionals. As accounting professionals, your domain knowledge, skills development, and professional network are key aspects of the path to success, the South Florida Chapter is here to support each element and to be a partner to all of its members in making meaningful contributions to their employers, clients, and communities.
